A Centre, Ala., man was released from Floyd Medical Center on Thursday after he was injured in a Wednesday night wreck on Ga. 20, hospital officials said.
According to Floyd County police reports:
Charles Alford Goughf, no age available, was going east on Alabama Highway near Huffaker Road in his 2000 Nissan Frontier. As he drove, there was a tractor trailer stopped at the railroad tracks. Goughf reportedly did not see the larger truck and drove his Nissan ran into the trailer without hitting his brakes.
Goughf was taken to FMC that night after reportedly suffering a broken leg.
No citations were levied against either driver.
